This piece has nicely rounded edges, which don’t detract from its usefulness. It could be made from any solid wood, such as character oak, or any veneer such as maple, (or painted) and made to a different size and shelf configuration to be used as a room divider or display unit. - [see image below for wood types & sketch idea showing similar unit but larger - ‘2.5 module length’]. Care should be taken when using a unit in the center of a space that weight is bottom loaded for safety or screwed into place if on an uneven surface
